Workshops
Will Todd is increasingly active running workshops for choirs - ranging from workshops and singing days exploring Mass in Blue and singing in a jazz idiom, to more general sessions on choral singing, often featuring a range of his own music. Choir members appreciate the opportunity to work with an experienced choral trainer who is also a composer, and benefit from the unique insight of a composer into his own works.
The scope of these workshops ranges from an evening session in place of a choir's regular rehearsal (often popular as a launch event or final rehearsal for a performance of Mass in Blue), to a whole day session involving singers from several choirs together.
Working together with the Will Todd Trio and often in collaboration with conductor Ralph Woodward, Will Todd has run several successful Singing Days on Mass in Blue. On these days, choirs and individual singers come together to work on the piece, culminating in an informal performance at the end of the afternoon.
The Will Todd Trio are also involved with running training sessions for companies, using the medium of music for team building and strategic insight.
