A Singing Day exploring and performing Will Todd’s Mass in Blue with the composer

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn and perform Will Todd’s popular jazz-inspired Mass setting Mass in Blue, in a singing day with the composer. The day will include rehearsal sessions on the Mass with hints on singing in a jazz idiom and guidance to improve your singing technique from composer and conductor Will Todd, and renowned choral conductor Ralph Woodward, director of the Fairhaven Singers and the Britten-Pears Chamber Choir. The day will culminate in a full performance of Mass in Blue with Will Todd at the piano, along with the Will Todd Trio and soprano Bethany Halliday.

Lunch is available to buy at various cafes and sandwich shops nearby. Alternatively, please feel free to bring your own lunch and eat it in the venue.
Scores and CDs of Mass in Blue will be available for sale on the day.
